Two is one...and one is none...another perfect example.

On 9-10-2009 not long after filling the plug on the bottom of the tank failed. A 1/4" diameter hole sort of "blew out" of the plug. So, if you choose to manifold two tanks together, make sure you never have both valves on or you could loose all of your gas in one failure!

Fortunately the gas is "cheap" and we are only out a little over $1,000. Could have been worse, like $3.00 a gallon instead of $1.249.

The gas company said it would take about an hour to empty a tank...lol, our full tank was empty in about 40 minutes....se we never even had time to get a truck onsite to save any of the gas.

Yes, this is a bummer.

  • Thanks to my Daughter for making this vid...and to my wife for risking life and limb checking the fill level by wading through that cloud of gas! Is that CRAZY or what??? You wouldn't catch me walking into a cloud of gas for nothing!
