Eminence sounds great!
-
The best way to tell which you like the best is compare the first 10 to 15 secs and then skip to 1:37

@Killyoudeadnstuff I'll check it out. I could always give them a try, once I have the funds. I'm open to options, I haven't decided 100% yet

@ninja609 not a bad idea. have you heard of the eminence governor? something to look into as apposed to the v 30, dunno whether you'd like it more or not but it could be worth looking into. i'm just an eminence fan haha, they're all good though. i wonder if it would be a good idea to do one of all 4 of the mentioned speakers in a cab?

@Killyoudeadnstuff I'm definitely thinking of putting either 2 Eminence v12's and 2 Celestion G12K-100's (as seen here) in a cab, or 2 Eminence v12's and 2 Celestion v30's in one cab.

Hola! La verdad es que me ha gustado más como suena el Eminence. Me parece curioso que una marca que cuesta la mitad de dinero que un Celestion pueda sacar tan buenos sonidos.
Un saludo!

Celestion has more tone and definition!!!
-
Eminence is warmer with more low mid girth and the Celestion has more grit and bite (top end clarity). This is neither here nor there - it is what you like. Both great speakers here I think.
-
celestion seems more scooped if you ask me. solution? use them both! or turn up the mids using that celestion or the highs using the eminence. either way though, your speaker dictates your tone infinatly more than the 3 little knobs. i'm thinking the eminence was better for everything but the metal riff because i could see the celestion sound on an album fitting in better. but i like the tone of the eminence much more. it's less sharp, and has more tone.
