Demi's POV:
Its the year 2000. Selena and I are playing in my backyard! We're about to go swimming. We're both 8 years old. Our parents have always been best friends so from the day we were born we were instantly like twin sisters! She's my best friend ever and I can always count on her for ANYTHING!
Selena: Hurry Up Demi! You're taking FOREVER!
Demi: -laughs- I'm coming!
Selena: Slowpoke!
Demi: Hey!
Selena: -giggles and jumps in the pool-
Demi:-jumps in after her- Selena Marie, you have no patience!
Selena: -laughs- Nope!
-6 years later-
Demi's POV:
I was waiting outside school for Selena. It was her birthday today and she's turning 16 today! I had my gift for her in my hands and the bell was about to ring, yet I waited. The bell finally rang and Selena still wasnt at school. She's NEVER late.... This isnt like her I thought to myself... But I just put her present in my locker and met up with our guy best friend(who just so happens to be my boyfriend) Nick Jonas. I was deep in thought while we were walking to homeroom when he asked me a question.
Nick: Do you know where Sel is? Shes like NEVER late! EVER!
Demi: I really have no idea... I hope shes ok
Nick: Youre just being Paranoid Dems
Demi: Yah ur right..
-After School-
Demi: -calls Selena's house-
Selena's Mom (SM): -sniffles- H-Hello?
Demi; Mrs. Gomez?
SM: O hello Demi..
Demi: I-Is Everything ok? -expecting the worse-
SM: I'm a-afraid not dear... Selena is missing
Demi: =O -drops the phone-
Demi's POV:
I cant believe what I just heard... Selenas Gone... And she might never come back... I hung up the phone as tears started pouring out of my eyes... I walked upstairs to my room and cried desperately into my pillow to muffle my screams of sadness and regret.. I didnt know why Selena was gone.. I dont know how long shes been gone but all I knew was that I wanted her back. I wanted my best friend. i wanted the only person I truly trusted. I want my sister... All these thing led to one... I wanted Selena... She's always been there for me... She would help me with my problems. You name it. Boys, Dates, Crushes, Jerk, You name it. My cell started ringing and I saw it was Nick. I hesitated but then answered because I figured he has a right to know what happened to his best friend.
Demi: H-Hey Nick
Nick: Hey Demi! Are you ok baby?
Demi: -starts crying harder- No! I'm not Nick! Selena is gone! She's missing!
Nick: WHAT?! OMG im so sorry babe... Do you want me to come over?
Demi:-sniffles- Please.
Nick:I'll be right there. I love you.
Demi: I love you too -hangs up-
-15 minutes later-
Nick: -knocks on her balcony door-
Demi:-opens it-
Nick: -hugs her tight-
Demi: -cries into his chest-
Nick's POV:
Hearing that Selena is missing just drove me off the edge. Here I am trying to comfort Demi but truth be said, I'm still fighting off tears. From the minute Demi told me Selena was gone I just felt like exploding. Demi and Selena were as close as two people could be! And Im pretty close to Selena as well.. I met Demi through Selena And The 4 of us have been inseperable since... And the 4th person you may ask is my older brother Joe. He's been dating Selena for the past year and Ive never seen him happier. The second he found out Selena was gone... he lost it... He just broke down in tears right on the spot. He then grabbed his coat and said he was going to find her... I hope he does... For all of our sakes.
