  • Thats got to be the worst for the controller when you dont get a response

  • I read on the preliminary NTSB report that he was less than a 1000ft over the GW. The full report won't be out for a few more months I guess.

It's usually a year after a crash that the reports come out.

  • This isn't CVR. This is ATC. Anyone know if the actual CVR is posted anywhere for 1549?

  • The cockpit audio was just released. Sullenburger said he couldn't close the, "fucking" cockpit door.

    I think that's hilarous.

He crash-lands into the Hudson river...he's cool.

The bullet-proof cockpit door is stuck...."Fuck!"

    Props to the Cpt.

  • This isn't cockpit audio this is FAA ATC recordings. I wonder what his altitude was over the GWB before he started descending...

  • You know this guy? This guy is cool as can be. It is amazing to me how he did not panic.

  • I saw this pilot on tv in an interview. He is the most calm person you can imagine. Even in the face of all of this danger he does not lose his cool, as you can plainly see here.

Thanks for this good audio here, iHACK360.

  • cause you didn't cut stuff out.
