  • My parents had a joyful reunion here as newlyweds in 1943 during WWII....hope to visit the station on a future trip to Harrisburg and see where they "flew into each others arms".

  • I love this station so much! I live in Harrisburg and my dad took me on a train ride one time to Philadelphia just to show me how everything works. I remember the GG1 so vividly!

  • I have been here..i saw this station, it was neat, i likes the old look, except i was riding greyhound, when i went to get a snack, i saw thewaiting area for the trains and saw the trains on the tracks.wow..i would have loved to get on the train except Amtrak doesnt go to Dayton

  • You noticed the GG-1 on display, right?

  • my dad would take me on random amtrak rides when i was a kid because i was and still am literally obsessed with trains. I remember one time we took the train from braintree MA to philly then to this station in Harrisburg and thats where i got my first glimps of a gg1 up close. We didnt know it was there, it was just pure coincidence not to mention the fact that the pennsy was my favorite railroad so i crapped a brick

  • Great video, I like it a lot. I'm glad you did this one. Nice job! Too bad someone didin't video the station back about 1940 with a beautiful T1 sitting there. 5* rate.

  • iwas there for christmas visting my in-laws they live in enola, this station is very big and wow!!! real nice, hope all you folks get a chance to visit harrisburg it a real treat

  • Great tribute! My grandfather George Starner was a conducter on the Broadway Limited, as was his son Robert, so we grandkiddies often rode the rails to NYC from Harrisburg in the 1950s and 60s. Still do to Downingtown when roads shut down to my home in Easton from where I work in Harrisburg.

  • I was just there a few months ago, while my Amtrak Pennsylvanian stopped over.
