When we made this film mid 80's, we felt pretty good about it. But as time went on, CGI made it look very crude. When I was at Sony Imageworks, many comments were made about it when we were starting Stuart Little. I always tried to pretend I was elsewhere. I find the kind comments here very touching. J.C.M.

@JohnClarkMatthews I think you and everyone else who's involved in having this go from books to movie(s) is a triumphant feat. As for the comments made during the making of Stuart Little, one day something will blow Stuart Little out of the water. That's just the way it works. The technology wouldn't be there to use if it wasn't for people like you being the person who decides to step outside the box. =) Ralph will always have a place in my heart first. <3 Good Job! :D

My fellow was just telling me about a story he really loved, from when he was little...I think this is it! I'm happy now, because I get to show it to him.

To Maylin 1986 - Thank you for your comments. To confirm your views, I did work on Stuart Little. The Mouse and the Motorcycle helped Sony Pictures see what Stuart Little could be - but with much better technology.

I don't think a German version exists anymore. Even the English version is almost impossible to find.

There will be more, but not just my old films. J.C.M.

Fred Savage was in Runaway Ralph, the second of three mouse shows. He got the part for the Wonder Years while working on the show. He was a very talented kid. J.C.M.
