Wrong! LR3 has 2 chassis: a separate and self-supporting. ML does not have 2 chassis. Because of that LR3 is the stiffest car

So. I still would buy the MDX from Acura

that's crap...you can put any car up there to hold 10 cars hanging down. this doesn't prove anything. it's stupid.

to tear any car apart you need alot more than 10 tons. almost as bad as thos diehard battery commercials here on youtube.

what has low range got to do with anything if its being supported by a crane, like this disco did?

it isnt the lr3 holding it up is it? no. its the damn frame underneath the landrover that you see right at the start when it goes on scales

@lilemotom There is a big frame used but if you look at 28', 29' and 30' you will see that frame painted red....in the gap there is no frame - so all of the weight of the frame PLUS the three competitor cars PLUS the Discovery itself is carried through the Discovery's monocoque/ integrated chassis.

why dont they show the other cars demonstrating the same as the lr3
i own a ml320 and i can say if it were thrown into low range it could also pull up its competitors, and have the same frame strength as the lr3

Ive checked YouTube and see no example of someone having done it with an ML but as you say the ML might be able to do it too. Merc might want to stage the same stunt if you asked them?
