actually you make my point. if your a Ukrainian citizen living in those areas then you should not consider yourself to be of another country. Also Islam is a religion not a race. Just like myself I am a American citizen living in Mexico. Once I become a Mexican citizen though then I will consider myself to be Mexican not American.

I stand corrected according to a website for the Ukrainian government. Ethnic Russians make up about 22% of the Ukraine. The figure I used before came from news websites. Most speak Ukrainian and Russian but about 88% identify Ukrainian as the official Language.

Thomas 1016 before u start saying shit confirm thats its true. Ethnic russians dont make 11-12% of Ukraine, the number is about 35-40%. I live in Ukraine and I can tell u that 90% of the people speak russian at home. Sure it's not the goverment language but all business is done in russian.

all conflicts don't just happen all of the sudden they have at least 50 years history to it(like in Ossetia, Kosovo etc.), another thing is non-coverage and coverage of what is happening
