And to all of you running down the movie, STFU! I am an old fart, (45), and have been watching Star Trek longer than most of you have been alive. Every movie has its flaws, but this one was some of the best Star Trek to come out of the studio in a long, long time.

Kirk was 34 in "The Deadly Ears" and had been captain for several years by that point so Chris Pine is not that far off.

I want all you fuckers to stop complaining about the new movie. It was good and how do you expect the legacy of our heroes to live on if we don't keep it alive. The new movie was made out of respect, none of the actors tried to copy anybody and the original actors were nothing but supportive Leonard Nimoy was in the whole process of making this movie. There is a point to the actors being young it is before the original! They're supposed to be young.This video was funny the comments are stupid.

He IS captain Kirk, not the kid from the lame new movie. The new movie does not deserve the name Star Trek. Or if it does - that means Star Trek has died 100% and can never be revived and must be given up for good.
