  • Hi my name is Whitney and I just wanted to tell you that I'm 23 and I have Spastic Cerebral Palsy. When I was 18 months old my mom was told that I would never walk and I wouldn't be able to learn anything. You sound just like my mom and because of her and my supportive family I started walking when I was four. They taught me I could do anything I wanted in life, and I will graduate from college at the end of the year. I believe your son can do so much in his life and I hope he finds happiness.

  • @twitchytwilightfan Im so happy to hear that!!! Congrats! My son started walking at around 4 as well. He's having some learning problems as well, but I feel as though if he conquered walking he can do anything. Im definitely gonna have to hit up in your inbox. Thanx for the comment....definitely put a smile on my face :-)

  • Blessings to you both <3

  • @onlyoldnavy I appreciate your words, but I love my son to death. HE IS MY MIRACLE BABY, I run on faith and not 100% on what "man" says. Doctors and therapists told me that my son was gonna be confined to a walker/wheelchair....and yet he is now walking independently without he help of anything or anybody. My baby is continuing to do things that docs said would be impossible. Im a parent and I get so tired of therapists and docs who don't have empathy for others. SMDH...

  • Thank you for this video im 15 and i was born just like your son and i have the same disabilities just like your son im practically blind in my left eye too you should put your son in regular but have him on the side for like cause some people may not like him for what he is like people did to me but there will also be people who accept him like god did for me again thank you for this video i felt much more encouraged to accept myself for me

  • Thank you thank you and thank you :) from a mother with a son who was born at 29 weeks and had cp. I'm struggling with acceptance but I'm getting stronger each day. I wish I could hug you :) thank you so much for giving me hope for the future and God is the only one who knows what these kids will do. We can only do the next best thing :) happy holidays.
