Just a video showing Windows 7 beta Build 700o running on an aluminum MacBook. I also talk about the easy installation process and how in my opinion Windows 7 is just a service pack for Windows Vista.

  • LoL. Douchebag installs "bloated" OS on his "superior" macbook because it's bloated. What a dumbass.

  • ummm dude!! by default turns off becouse of lack of drivers. after you install the drivers from teh os x disk you can go into the theme menu and areo will turn on. you wont belive how many people cant figure this out.

  • This is a little bit late at a reponse but...

You need to be aware that the Dock cannot be compared to the taskbar in Windows simply because the Dock is a Dock and is not a taskbar; the Dock is used so that you can gain quick access to any file on your harddrive, whilst also acting like a taskbar. The taskbar, on the other hand, only deals with open and running applications, nothing else.

  • Yep, you nailed it. Bam! Haha.

  • You mean the aero effects. The "GUI" is always on....if it wasnt....it would be dos.

  • Thats True

  • No, you can. Look around for other people using the Windows 7 beta on boot camp and you will see that they do, in fact, have the aero interface enabled.

And if you didn't think you could use the GUI in boot camp why exactly did you make a video and bash the Windows 7 GUI? Of course the GUI sucks when you don't have it turned on... there is no GUI.

Had you turned it on you would have seen the aero task bar which runs circles around the dock. Apple is playing catchup.

  • Dude, I don't think you could use GUI in Bootcamp. Win7 will never be as good as OSX

  • No overhauled GUI? Do you even know what GUI stands for? It stands for Graphical User Interface. Maybe if you had any clue what you were doing on that machine of yours you would have enabled Windows Aero to SEE the new GUI. Of course it looks outdated when the GUI is disabled like you have it.

Here I'll disable all graphical features of OS X 10.5 and claim that it isn't really an update to 10.4. WOW.

Why don't you remake this video with the GUI on so you don't look like such an idiot.

  • a Sony Cybershot camera, this video could have been HD but iMovie HD has a problem recognizing audio........
