If you guys had ever been to St. Thomas you would know that they drive on the left hand side of the road. It is the only place under US jurisdiction that they do so.
When an accident happens they do not need 30 people gawking and possibly causing another accident by blocking the road.
Also, anyone who goes on a trip like this and does not make sure that they have great medical coverage is not too bright. Anything can happen when riding anywhere.
Let's get 50 'sometimes' riders who only ride 500 miles a year crammed together riding formations on narrow mountain roads & let them scatter over the road.
If the company running this mess was 1/2 as good as they claim, they'd stop the tour as soon as they saw everyone scattered & wobbling through corners. If you're the best rider on Earth, you'll be riding with a Captain who obviously doesn't watch the group & you'll be surrounded by these same kind of riders.
What a mess. Riders all over the road. Tour guide (Ride Captain?) yelling at people to keep riding after an accident. Only 1 guy in the video looked like he had any clue how to lift a bike. Red bike rider rode straight into the other bike (Google : fatal fixation). The pair on the receiving end riding on the wrong side of the road (at least they stopped at the road's edge). I never heard anyone telling anyone to call for medical help.
Again, what a friggin' mess on pretty much everyone's part.
Crashes like this have happened more than once on these trips - and that guy, Steve, is a total jerk!! He showed his true self here, in his posts! I am shocked he is still in business. I would be VERY cautious about going on one of these motorcycle cruises.
After seeing this video we are having second thoughts on booking this cruise. Accidents will happen but the tour guie yelling at the group is totally unprofessional. I'm sure everyone trying to help was upset without this jerk treating them they had done something wrong.
