Bryan Fischer: Christopher Hitchens is in Hell Because 'God Loves Him'

Radio host, Bryan Fischer, recently stated that Christopher Hitchens will be sent to Hell because of God's love for him.

"Let's assume for the sake of argument that Christopher Hitchens maintained his resolve and did not turn, he did not repent, he died an unrepentant and defiant atheist. That would mean today, if the Scriptures mean anything, that he is in Hell today.

But here's my point, the point I was making earlier is that if he is, if Christopher Hitchens is, in fact, in Hell, he's there because God loves him. Not because God hates him but because God loves him."

After death unrepentant sinners who reject Christ like hitchens (as far we can tell) are no longer loved by God. God's offer love and mercy through Jesus is valid while hitchens is alive. After death there is only judgement and wrath.

@Aliof Indeed. However, I take exception with the "rest in peace" phrase. He's not resting anywhere. He's no longer alive in any location to be resting. All that aside, what a terrible loss to the atheist cause.
