Nat stayed where he was for a minute.Then he walked up to Alex.
N:GOSH DANG IT ALEX!I TOLD YOU TO STAY HIDDEN!Why didn't you listen?(He layed his head down on Alex's chest)DAMN IT!Now what am going to do?My whole world revolved around you,Rosalina,and the band.But now with Rosalina dumping me(She has been comforting Nat but they are not back together),You de...gone,and i don't know whats going to happen with the band I just don't kknow what I'm supposed to do.You were my closest friend.We stuck together through the break up of the Silver Boulders.We also helped eachother.I helped you with your addiction to lemon lime soda,now if we only could work on the milk problem.(He smiled)And you helped me with Rosalina.Now when i need help with her more than ever,you're going to leave me.(He shook his head)I'm going to stop talking about all the bad things now.How about i talk about all the happy things that has happened.Would you like that?(He paused a moment and stared at Alex)
Remember the day we won that VMA Award.
We were all tense becuz Jesse read our horoscope and they were bad.You thought you were going to d-die.(he stuttered)Oh and there was that time you counted grains of sand at the lake while everyone else had fun just so you could win a world record for Jesse.
I also remmber the time when you tried to go through pebuerty before I did.Or that one time when me and David went on that trip and I left you in charge.You ended up making the rest of the band mad.To get back at you they made you think E.T could talk.(He laughed)That was pretty funny but I think the funniest thing was when we had to dress up as girls and you ended up winning a beauty pagent.
The machine beeped again.It showed that Alex's heart rate was very low.
N:Well I guss I'm going to go now little man.See ya.(he kissed his forehead)I love you,bye.
He walked out.
Alex's thoughts.(he hasn't been able to open his eyes, but he has heard everything thats going on)
A.T:(he was laughing)Yeah those wwere great times.Hey where are you going?Tell some more stories.I wish you would stay.
Nat's thoughts.
N:(I'm going to miss him.Maybe I should stay with him.So he doesn't go alone.)
He walked back to Alex's room.
N:Hey I came back.Something told me I should.
A.T:Yay you came back.I hope you tell more stories.Wait what's that light.It's really bright.It's getting closer and brighter..There is something in the light.Mom is that you?
(The machine was beeping that long beep,Alex wasn't breathing or he didn't have a heart beat.Nat was crying)
Polly:Yes it's me.
A:But your dead.
P:So are you.
A:What no.I'm not ready to go.Nat needs me.Dad needs me.
P:I'm sorry sweety,now come with me.
A:(crying)I don't want to go.
With Nat.
N:(Crying)Well I better go tell everyone else you're gone.(he started crying harder)
