I have kids and no hidden agenda, when we play its a great feeling. it makes me feel great to bond with them, thats why i do it which is selfish, no spite. when i make someone feel good, i feel good. do you see what i am saying? what you give is what you get. i don't hurt others because i don't want to be hurt, i know how it feels, just as you do.

When you do something to make others feel good, to feel good yourself, isnt that dishonest? and isnt that selfishness? And is it not spiteful then, to refuse to see that? How can we know if and when we are being spiteful when we are so concerned with defending ourselves and pleasing others?

how do you know that what makes others feel good is not abusive to themselves? you are only seeing their smiling faces, but do you know how and what that positive energy was stimulated by?

i am being misunderstood. enjoying yourself is selfish, im not talking about spite.are we not responsible for ourselves? we can't help others without first helping ourselves. if we don't take care of us first we have the potential of poisoning others

Im sorry how is spitefulness ok in anyway -please explain. Other than you making the statement that I will fuck with you by choosing to fuck with myself. Screw everyone and look only for my self interest and free will to do whatever I want whenever I want it no matte of the consequences for all of existence?!

i never said anything about spitefulness. i dont fuck with others. read the rest of my comment. i had to help myself out of ilness, nobody rescued me, i had to do it. i learned through that to pay attention to myself, the mind and make the connection, the mind was poisoning me. thats what i mean by selfish program. we must FIRST pay attention to ourselves!

Self-interest poisons the moment. Take a look. Spend some time with children. When we are totally present with them, playing and enjoying ourselves they respond in kind and its a lot of fun. When we start to have an agenda, and take ourselves out of the flow of the moment, and start to structure the kids, they shutdown as well, with a sigh of disappointment. Self-interest set in, and it ruined everything. When truly surrendering to the moment, there can be no self-interest.
