http://www.yctv.tv/miami/ - Dolphin Stadium is a football, lacrosse, soccer, and baseball stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, a suburb north of Miami. The stadium serves as host to the Miami Dolphins, the Florida Marlins, and starting in 2008, the Miami Hurricanes.[2] Like the Metrodome, Dolphin Stadium is not a true multipurpose stadium, but is a football stadium that can convert into a baseball stadium. Most of the seats are pointed toward center field--where the 50-yard line would be in the football configuration. As such, the sight lines are not as good for baseball.
During the Marlins' two World Series appearances, the upper-deck outfield seats were so far from the field that the game couldn't be seen except on the replay boards. Behind the scenes, the facility underwent $100 million in renovations to accommodate Major League Baseball and the Florida Marlins before the 1993 season. The stadium has been home to the Miami Dolphins since 1987 and to the Florida Marlins since 1993. However, stadium management has indicated that the Marlins must find a new venue by the end of their current lease. It has been the site of the FedEx Orange Bowl game since 1996, except for the January 1999 contest between Florida and Syracuse, which had to be moved due to a conflict with a Dolphins playoff game. The stadium has played host to: four Super Bowls (1989, 1995, 1999, and 2007 with another scheduled in 2010), two World Series (1997 and 2003), and numerous concerts, featuring entertainers such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Billy Joel, Chicago, Genesis, Gloria Estefan, The Police , Guns N' Roses, The Who, Hall & Oates, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, and The Three Tenors. Located at 2269 Dan Marino Boulevard, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056

  • @08WSChamps Those would look good. But the ones we have now are also pretty fresh.

  • @DoesNotExist305 alot like the dolphins, teal and orange, i hope you guys go with teal, orange, white, and a little black to outline the name and numbers. IT'll look real nice. Just put the marlin on an "M' for the front of the cap. I kinda like when cities use the same colors for some teams (Pittsburgh, NY Mets, and Knicks). Im a huge jersey fan so im into that stuff lol

  • @DoesNotExist305 lol damn i cnt believe its been 2 yrs since i commented on this, almost completely out of my memory. Well if thats true (and i hate nothing more than feeling like im so far away from the game) then i can understand. I mean we're rivals but i hope for your city and fans more will show up with the new dimensions and the roof so you guys arent frowned upon as a fanbase. Good luck, cant wait too see the new jerseys(rumor has it with the name change to miami marlins ur unis may look..

  • @08WSChamps Kinda late on this response but the Marlins have a large fan base down here in Florida. We love the Fish. It's just that that stadium is a horrible place to watch a baseball game. All the seats are facing where the 50 yard line is in football. It's a nice experience but it's a pretty crappy baseball stadium. Hopefully when the new stadium opens next year our fan base will show up. Go Fish!

  • @smallchilly786 your not helping and there still going to build it whooooo go marlins

  • I dont understand how a team who won 2 world series in 6 years and have only existed for 16 years not make the slightest bit of attendence. If that were the Phillies the crowd would be out to center city it would be so packed. The most ive eve seen was a video on the 1997 champs and thought it was a video game untill i clicked on the video lol

  • fuk the marlins and there pice of shit new stadium that we paying wit our tax dollars

  • It was built in 1988 I belive, so its a newish stadium, great sound system, but a very bulky stadium, lots of cement, typical 80s design. Alot of florida marlins memories in there, but im glad were getting a stadium that we can call a baseball stadium.
