I just purchased this, and to be honest, I wished I hadn't. The noise of the zoom motors is as loud as the sounds outside the camera when you playback the footage, very bad design. Also the mics pic up the hard disc drive too. I will try for a refund and go for a Panasonic next.
This being my second JVC Everio in an many months! Their quality control is non-existant.

@southofthethames yeah, the only complaints I have about this camera are- 1. you can't change the framerate like on my older camera, and 2. the zoom motors and hard disk are very loud, even in the video. other than that, it's a fairly good camera, for me at least. the microphone is very sensitive, too.

I don't know if you said it cause I don't really understand english, but is the camera 60 fps or just 30 fps ? in 1080p/i 720p/i ? Is the autonomy good ? Thank you!

@RomainBoidevezy this camera is 1080P, and I believe it is 30 FPS.

@RomainBoidevezy I don't really know if this camera can be set to standard definition. sorry. although you can change other settings, like focus, white balance, exposure, ETC.
