evsynator: have u heard the white stripes version of this? good shit too. and major props for having great tastes in music, it's sadly, very rare these days. the offer stands, ill drive there, put u up in a bedroom, so u wont waste money on dumb shit, even tho id pay damn near any amount, his concerts are mindblowing, then he greets you like your his old friend, and MEANS it.....dude is REAL.

being blind almost his ENTIRE life should be enough for people to dig this guy....he never laid eyes on a fretboard..i know, other senses are hightend, but..dude pimp slaps his guitar, lets it know who the boss is. hey, hey ALWAYS tours on the east coast, if you got plane fare, ill give you a NICE place to stay, and safe. oh, and he will thank you, he will shake your hand, and, he WILL talk to you like your life long pals...amazing man all around.

I live in the UK and got enough money for the trip ... but if I was able to get over there then his concerts ( and shake his hand ) would be my first priority . His attitude to life as well as his playing is inspirational . Also ... thanks for the comment .

and to you dear sir......er ma'am...........you have fantastic taste in REAL FUCKIN music, skill and just pure talent! the man is what? 86 er something, blind as all hell since he was like a YEAR old, and listen....whoa.....this man STILL blows my mind, daily. have you had the chance to see the man play live? hes a performer. DONT pass up the chance, you'll die unhappy. seriously man, awesome. i love to hear from other doc fans. dude is the truth.

massive doc watson fan ,,,, but the sound in that hall seemed dreadfull . Such a shame . Not his fault though ... and looks like you had a good seat !
