I agree with this guy. The Facebook privacy controls, though complicated, are exactly what Id want. However, they have a 3rd party access option set default to "yes."
Also, for the record, the new layout sucks.

We lost control of our own lives the moment the Patriot Act was signed into law. This complete lack of privacy shouldn't come as a shock to you people. You can be searched with no cause or warrant, your phone lines tapped, your computer confiscated, you family imprisoned at any time for any reason if you are deemed a threat. Quit whining about facebook and start paying attention to the real world around you. We are all in serious trouble.
