You say this is poor for running windows vista? but, could you not boost performance? by downgrading to windows xp and making the most of the 2 gig of ram?

I've fallen in love with the HP mini notebook over the course of today it looks great and it has a full size keyboard. I've been debating between the HP the new Dell one. I've ordered mine with Vista on it the description specs said only 1gb ram but I'm only going to use it for the internet it can't be that bad can it? I run Vista Ultimate on my desktop I only ever use 1gb I just use my pc for surfing the net and network programs.

You didnt speak about the high resolution, the fact that its a breeze to change to XP, the multiple usb ports, the wifi, what other mini laptop has a webcam? the built in stereo microphones, speakers. near standard size keypad. SD card slot. the express card slot. The large hard drive, The optinal 6 cell battery, that only takes an hour 1/2 to charge battery. Asus doesnt compare when it comes to features AT ALL. This is a bias UNINFORMATIVE review. All cons & no PROS? do u know how to review??

Get a usb mouse duh! windows xp SP3 and it'll run VERY smooth I ran a dvd while watching multiple youtube vids. slowness is do to Vista operating system. What OS r u runnin on that one? Wow, u didnt speak about anything that really mattered. This review SUCKED! The things you didnt like weren't important. Change the OS to winxp sp3, get over the mouse pad and ANGLE THE SCREEN CORRECTLY and you'll find the HP mini note to be a great buy. P.S. EVERYONE know vista sucks... Change it.
