That's Ron Kovic at 6:36, ennit? To think, if it weren't for the movie, I wonder how many people today would be aware of his story. And what a story. He was right in there with a very frightening cast of characters. Henry Kissinger, war criminal extraordinaire, should have been charged by the International Criminal Court, but seeing as the U.S. never ratified that.... Anyway. It's really cool to see the real scenario, to see who all was there and then. Shameful indeed, "another Kent State" SICK!

What a wonderful video. I enjoyed watching it. And God bless all of you Vietnam Vets. You were following orders, you were good soldiers. Wow, what a video!

guessing the security guy at the start was a *big* John Wayne fan

There is going to be a revolution in America very soon. Everyone is sick of getting taxed on every penny. Nobody has influenced me on my opinion. Just cold hard facts that are not biased.

Same shit,...different Party. Early 1970's will happen again, only on an unimaginable level. SPIRITUAL WARFARE. The Gay Marriage Issue is a Smokescreen for the REAL Firestorm that is ALREADY, afoot. History is full of political distractions. THINGS ARE UNFOLDING, EXACTLY THE WAY THEY WERE MEANT TO. THE ONLY Vote that still counts...is the one WE make in OUR Hearts. -peace.

@sokodad Typical conservative, cast stones at the liberals when they're in don't do things perfect and then when the conservatives are in power, blame the Democrats for all the problems saying it was caused by Obama or whoever. When things are going good they take the credit whether in power or not. Republicans are the party of propaganda. Say the same montra over and over again!

@bryanvsmith I saw that that film too. Great film. It is facininating to see the real events that the film portrayed. However Kovic's arrest and beatdown (By the undercover vet) occured in LA not Miami. Oliver Stone merged the 2 events together.

@sokodad Yes, most of my life I have voted for Dems, but since Obama became Prez, I'm starting to see the light on how corrupt our political system is in this country. Atleast I'm bold enough to blame the people I voted for in not doing what they promised, so you're wrong about me only pointing the finger at the far right. If you really love this country, then you will stand up against the two party system and demand a change on who we choose and how we choose are leaders.
7:38 is Ron Kovic - the veteran that Tom Cruise played in Born in the Fourth of July. that scene was portrayed near the end of the movie.

Another Kent State "worth it" — what a shameful statement.
