Celebration Of Kenny's Life

Dont grieve for me, for now Im free,
Im following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
Ive found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Lifes been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Dont lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

What a lovely tribute to Ken's Life. Keep up the good work in helping to raise awareness about the very serious issue of suicide. I have volunteered each year at the Indianapolis Out of the Darkness Walk, and am amazed each year at how many people are affected by suicide. Derry, hope you're doing OK. Carolyn.

This is angie, ken's daughter. This video was so touching. I am happy to know that so many people loved and remember my dad. I walked in the out of the darkness walk here in indy, but I wish I could have been there with you all.
