  • I am currently the only student in our AutoCad class that is doin Civil...My instructor doesnt know alot about the different applications in AutoCad. So any tips for a newby Civil 3d user would be great. all input welcome.

  • @nartin86 Autocad is simple drafting. Civil 3D uses BIM, and is ment for civil engineering

  • What's the difference between AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D?

  • @Iluminator82 If you need if for a class you can sign up for a student free fund, Just put school, ,state, ect. and then download for free OR pay the thousands of dollars it cost, your choice.

  • @macq1 i would like some help too, i'm going to need this in my college

  • nice

  • @macq1 Yes...how much it costs :). I use Autocad 2010 @ work and i draw profiles and sections in ACAD. Its so borring and slow when u need to draw 200-300 sections ''by hand''. Im learning civil 3d (importing points and creating surfaces for now :) ) but it would be much easier with help of expert.

  • @Iluminator82 We offer training through our AEC Mentor Portal. All done via web. I can provide more information if you are interested.

  • esto realmente me emociona mucho mi deseo es ser ingeniero

  • Any1 knows how precisse Civil 3d is when u create a profile of a road (Table of mass). My english is bad so i hope ull understand what im asking :)
