I had an identical noise in mine. Turned out it was the water pump pully. Loctited the bolts and away I went. Silent.....

sounds like a bearing on one of the pullys mate, looking at the rest of the comments it could be your exaust fluid as well if your a petrol head go over some reg. maintanance and check everything if you cant find the problem then go ahead and take it in.

Sounds kinda like the waterpump, it happened to mine. Found metal debree in the chamber when I changed it
