Acupuncturists from Sedona treat Tibetans living in exile in a Tibetan refugee camp in India, called Mainpat. Invited by buddhist lama Tulku Karma Rinpoche, the experience so moved them that they formed the Tibetans in Exile Health Project, a not for profit tax exempt organization committed to meeting the health care needs of Tibetans living in exile. Part one of a two part film short created by founder Sarah Hauer.
I graciously thank both of you and the riponche la for doing what you did. You have in one project done what many buddhists dream of accomplishing in their entire life which is putting your ideals in practice and giving back.
I have grown up in Mainpat for the better half of my life and do understand the plight of tibetan refugees there. Watching this video empowers me to do something to help mainpat in the future. Many many thank you!
