Universal healthcare is used in Canada and all over Europe.

The cost of healthcare in Australia, Canada and France are all Half of what america has spent on healthcare. (Per capita)!!!

aside from the philosophical template of Socialism that I think you and a majority of Americans misunderstand.....I do agree that it is unconstitutional to force citizens to buy goods/services. we (america) are going down. it is happening. and a contributing factor is the "competitive" corporations that have outsourced their manufacturing into other countries where they can force 3rd-worlders to work with little to no pay in unsafe (sometimes toxic) environments........

However, it really does not matter what "ism" a Government uses for a template, as long is there is equality. That is what it is all about. Capitalism encourages constant expansion of the entire class spectrum, thus increasing inequality. Americans avoid considering that altruistic behavior could be part a solution. There is no silver bullet Government template. we just need to stop backstabbing each other.

I live in an ex-socialist country (France) and when I see people comparing Obama to socialism it makes me laugh, these tea baggers didn't even know the word socialism before Glenn Beck and other fascist corporate whores started talking about it, the real problem in the USA is the massive dumbing down of the people.
