On 31st October Pioneer DJ Belgium held the second of its monthly DJ workshops at Café d'Anvers.

Pioneer's DJ X-Ian went over all the features and possibilities of the SVM-1000 and DVJ-1000, sharing tips & tricks with the crowd.

screw this, a real dj pratice with 2 tt a mixer and 20 records. a real dj's locks hiself up and practise just as long as it takes to make a good mix, a real dj doesn't need the most expansive equipment there is, and a real dj learns hiself how to dj, and a real dj creates his owns style

@hollandiadj Yes, but why fight the natural evolution of DJ technology? Sure, beatmatching vinyls with just your pitchfader can be hard, but it has also become obsolete.

What Pioneer is doing is bringing DJ-ing to a wider range of people and making life easier for the ones already in it. For one, i think that's a very commendable thing to do.

If i wud have that set, they have there the mixer and the tabletops i wud Lock my self up for a week to get to know all the things of it thats what a real dj does

it would be nice to see a little bit more CONTENT in the videos: such as: how do you use the svm... instead of only reactions of the public...

@iSkateBoard10 yea thats true but there are enough vids where pioneer people wants to learn how to dj. you can't dj with out the skills

@Krivc89 today everybody van beat mix with beat counters. I swear, when somebody plays on real vinyl they cant mix cause the are used to have beat counters. There's only one thing pioneer can't make ''skils''.

@hollandiadj i agree with you but to me this looks like its for people that want to learn DVJ not DJ. and if you might not know dvj is a "dj" that creates the videos that play during a dj set.

Ofcourse practice is still what counts, but if tech can help you, why fight it?
