John Renbourn's plainsong (cover)

An early bluesy instrumental by John Renbourn from his first solo album that i have always admired as a masterpiece of its kind. This is my interpretation of it. Apologies for the black and white i upgraded my mac to the latest iLife and Macos and now cant get my Sony videos to import properly, anyway the sound is what matters.

I recommend you get the CD as every track is a small masterpiece

@lptx31 Hi Peter just for the youtube record there are a few tab versions of plainsong around on the net, i have never found an accurate one yet so this piece is an evolution of playing bits of those tabs and a bit of mental adaptation and merging over a period of time. I feel i have it pretty close to the original now.

Great stuff - not an easy piece at all. If I'm not mistaken the opening bars are slower than John's original - very effective.
