"In September 2002, the Stamper brothers sold their 51% interest in Rare to Microsoft; following this, Nintendo sold their 49% stake in the company as well. Microsoft paid a total of $377 million for the company. Because of this, Rare is now a first-party developer for Microsoft's Xbox and its successors. The trademarks of the characters from the games that Rare made for Nintendo consoles (such as Conker of Conker's Bad Fur Day) were retained by Rare (apart from IP originally developed by Nintendo, i.e. Donkey Kong and Star Fox). Despite the acquisition, Rare still develops games for Game Boy Advance, and is now also developing for the Nintendo DS. Rare has never developed for Sony platforms." [wikipedia]

  • Conkey: '' This guy.... what's been talking about ? I don't understand a word ! .....ok thats it ''

loll Banjo look like a freaky stupid bear in this ad.

  • @yumyum97 She's an elf, not a fairy.

  • at 0:55, the fairy from Kameo .

  • He says Hey conker, see that, we are on Xbox live arcade, from what I hear

  • Hold the front door! Why is everyone blameing Microsoft for this dissaster! Rare HAD a choice to go on to Microsoft and not leave nintendo, So it's half of rare's fault too.

  • @Timic83tc Probably something like: Hey Conker, do you see that xbox sign? It means we're fucked :'(

  • My theory on the reason Rare's games with Microsoft suck is because they didn't get the OK from Microsoft. Xbox has an older audience, and they must've thought many of Rare's games wouldn't sell well. They also lost their Donkey Kong license when they moved companies. Honestly, Rare was WAY better suited to Nintendo. Not only would they have the DK license, but their games for older audiences like Conker and Goldeneye would sell well along with a PROPER BANKO SEQUEL!

  • The beginning of the end.

  • so what did banjo say?

  • @TheLastLink265 I know it wasnt what he was refering too....chill out.
