CONNIE FRANCIS: "Rock-a-Bye Your Baby" (In Concert)

From a live concert in the 1960s. Connie was a huge Al Jolson fan and often included his hits in her performances - and also recorded some of his most familiar songs. I created this video slideshow using photos and music from my personal collection of Connie Francis memorabilia and recordings.

i believe this is from the Sahara and not used for the album they cut a lot of songs from that concert, would have been a 2 record set, and i am sure MGM lost the masters to this concert

@joeyjosephs Hi, Joey! I've heard that this is from that show, too. I think it's terrible that MGM didn't take better care - and release the whole thing. I've always thought the Sahara album could have been better, actually. It always seemed like a shortened program to me. I love this medley! Thank you for "stopping by" my channel. thank you for posting back in the late 50's and 60's i was in the navy she was my dream girl the feelings have never change i must say i love her singing. her versions in different languages only proves her great talent.

Slower than on the "Exciting CF" album. But just as good. I love this version just as much. Has any other female singer been as versatile as Connie. I don't think so
