Haydn Trumpet Concerto in Eb 2nd Mvmt.

I love this song and truthfully I have never performed it. I found a midi file for it back when I was in middle school and the band director gave me a copy of the whole concerto but it just kind of drifted away for me. I've since performed the 1st and 3rd mvmts but wanted to play the 2nd so here it is for youtube!

It's a tuneable bell and it's not the easiest thing to adjust...

Are you playing a "C" trumpet? I was noticing that your fingering appears to be different from mine (I play a Bb trumpet), unless there is a video-audio lag. What kind of horn do you play and what kind of mouthpiece? I just bought a Kanstul and play a Schilke 17 mpc. You sound really good! The 2nd is a great movement. I'm working on the octave jumps in the 1st and 3rd movements. Those are a challenge, eh??? :-) Keep up the good work!

I've watched a lot of your videos and enjoyed them. My favorite is Danny Boy and this piece is close. You've got a great sound and an inspiration for a returning player like me. Keep it up.
