  • I loved the video, however you can improve it. Here they are:

    1) Somehow the fact that you have to do a double hem on the other side gets lost. I had to watch it several time and still did not hear where you had said it.

    2) Why do you have to do the zig zag stick on the two short sides where you do the double hem?

    3) I would emphasize that you have to have the double hem on the short side of the pillow. I cut my pattern incorrectly before realizing it.

    THANKS!

  • @ek3550 Hi, I'm glad you like the video

I say to hem the short ends around 2:09 in the video. Zigzagging even under the double hem is a personal option. I always do it, others don't. I'm not sure how you could cut the pattern wrong as the measurements are all given on the downloadable pdf file?

  • when your sewing the double hem,you said that your going to do a another on the other side.Does that mean on the other side of the material you've just done or on the other piece of material?

  • @TswizzleFanClub It's made from one very long rectangle so the hem on "the other side" is the other short side on the other end of the rectangle. :)

  • I've never made one but I think if you made a cover the same way as the pillowcase and put press studs or velcro across the top to keep it closed, that might work well. :-)

  • Sorry, but I did not hear you saying the "s" in "short endS". YOu are right, your pattern is clear, however, since I am making a baby pillow case, I did not look at the pdf file for measurements. My fault.

I just completed my pillow cases with success after all, thanks to you!!!

  • Could you recommend a way of making a quilt cover so it could form a set with the pillow?
