Tutorial showing a construction technique that can be used to build a Pentagonal Bipyramid/Pyramid/Trivet/Frame using magnetic balls. This pentagonal subunit can be used to make a variety of larger figures.

  • Do you need more of 216?

  • @cacarmona1 : Well, that depends on how big you want to make the figure and which figure you want to construct. The three shapes I showed at the beginning of the video (bipyramid, trivet, & frame) all have a side length of 7 balls. The frame used 100 balls, the trivet 150 balls, and the bipyramid 287 balls. More than likely you'll want to make a larger figure using these subunits so having more than 216 balls would be helpful.
