http://www.forestethics.org Last year, Enbridge CEO Patrick Daniel told us that Enbridge does not want "to be involved with a project that is opposed and of concern to others." Apparently he's not listening.

This is an important time to act. The company has yet to formally file their environmental assessment application with the government, and a letter from you right now could make a big difference. By putting enough pressure on Enbridge now, we could stop the project before it even begins.

Watch this short animation that illustrates the clear opposition from First Nations to the proposed 1,170 km pipeline route, and then send a letter to Patrick Daniel to voice your opposition

  • 50 -100 jobs with all this risk? China already owns the tarsands. Billions in eco tourism and salmon are at risk not to mention the entire Hiada coast, which is the most unpredictable treacherous waters on the planet. Enbridge is responsible for over 800 oil spills, one just yesterday. Clean energy jobs surpassed all fossil fuel jobs combined in the US. 360 000 barrels of oil are used daily by US WAR. Our "leader" is the son of an oil baron and "fully supports" Israel if they att ack Iran. 2+2+4

  • Most Canadians are appalled by this proposed pipeline, super-tanker transport, and basically the continued push to expand the dirty, filthy bitumen oil production in the mid-west. We stand beside the First Nations - arm and arm against this development and any others like it in future. Harper and his Cons are not our legitimate governing body and they have no right to sell our country out in this way.

  • @aTnavarrow i think you have it backwards, it's native greed, the first nations people always "oppose" until the dollar amount they are holding out for comes up, then they will burn through all that and "oppose" again until they get more.

  • You have the power my sisters and brothers..if they try to build a pipeline stand in the way Don't let them

  • What the hell is this, another North of 60 movie. I may not know a lot about it because i am from the East, but come on. If this makes Canada better in terms of exports, and all the profits, why would you do disagree. Because it might hurt the land? Com'on. Is it because the Native commuity not getting a cut? Maybe the Native community should start paying ALL taxes like me, I am Canadian, aren't you?

  • @durwinpocha ~ answer is easy ~ GREED ~ I live here.

Corporate greed ~ First Nations oppose this and will NOT sell their land and good for them.

  • Ty do you have this week opposition in Parliament ~
