Chill. Why does "what is the best school in RP?" have to be an issue with you guys all the time? In Ateneo, they teach us to be responsible leaders and to contribute to the development of our nation. I think everyone should have this mindset, whether one is from the Ateneo, UP, or any other school in the Philippines. We should be competitive but we shouldn't be pulling down one another. Gee, this is why we've been third world for so long...

I believe people insist that UP is better than THE ATENEO due to their grave insecurity and due to the common mindset most people have. We choose to remain silent because we believe that we don't have to prove anything else. ANIMO ATENEO!

According to QS Top Universities World Wide for 2011, Philippine universities that we consider exclusive and the best are really pathetic compared to other schools:
U.P. ranked 332
Ateneo ranked 360
La Salle ranked 600
UST ranked 601+
This explains the state of our nation. Our leaders past and present attended these schools. (We have the worst airports, zoos, corruption and now schools.) In short, doesn't matter what school goes to in the Philippines.

Come on guys! Let's not argue about which is the better school. We all know that The Ateneo and UP are two of the most excellent schools in the Philippines and mere numbers such as rankings and positions shouldn't matter. It is a proven fact that these two schools offer outstanding education so there's really no need to fight. Peace and Animo Ateneo! :D
