I have NX100, and yes NEX-5 has better lens and pictures (especially at high ISO), but it's pretty complicated and not like DSLR at all (for settings - ISO/A f-stops/exposure is hard to set). So using NX100 you will set that faster, and it's cheaper. So the choice is yours - if you want a DSLR like camera - use NX100, if you want better quality (especially at high ISO) go for NEX5/3. ;)
