The Temptations - Heavenly

From their 1974 album "1990". Heavenly was caught in the center of a disc jockey boycott against Motown after executives at the lable did not thank the United States' DJs while accepting an award at the 1974 AMA's. As a result, the DJs refused to play "Heavenly" causing it to stall in the pop-charts rankings. Memebers: Richard Street, Damon Harris, Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin, and Otis Williams. Produced amd composed by Norman Whitfield. Instrumentation by : The Funk Brothers, and Rose Royce.

A very under rated classic. This song is forgotten when people discuss the Temps best work,but this is truly fantastic. I know many a "blue lights in basement " parties where you'd hear music like this.Just great memories.
