I remember this movie scared the heck out of me when I was 10. I couldn't watch it again for years. Now I look at it and laugh. Caleb Croft/Adrian Lockwood has the goofiest vampires fangs of any vampire movie.

I saw this as on a Saturday afternoon horror show called "Shock Theatre". It showed low-budget horror movies and this was a GOOD one! It was truly scary and disgusting. And the young mother's bloodletting of herself in order to feed her baby vampire is sickening. The blood looked REAL; freqently in horror films blood looks like orange paint or lipstick.

I saw this when I was little and recently bought the DVD. It is VERY good for a low budget movie. See it if you get the chance.

This is a completely underated movie.
The opening scene use to scare the crap out of me. William Smith is awesome. Great to see it!

Mr. Eastman is actually the son of the vampire teacher (Caleb Croft/adrian Lockwood). He is trying to get revenge for Croft raping his mother. She had to feed him blood since he is a half vampire. It drained her life force and she aged so fast and died. Now he will slowly expose him and then kill him in retribution for what he did 30+ years ago.
Can someone please explain to me what this has to do with existentialism
..or have I just wasted 6 minutes of my life?
