its lovely and others come to greet you etc. The fact is there is heaven and hell

and you are greeted by the Lord if you are born again of the Spirit ....and you enter

hell if you are not.

@cobbax9916 I highly doubt that satan, if he really exists, could give the impression of unconditional love. Many NDErs say their NDE was the best time of their lives. And their lives are transformed for the better; they become more loving, compassionate and accepting of others and less materialistic. If satan is responsible for NDEs, he's not doing his job very well.

There is so much we, as humans, can't comprehend. Theres hundreds of BILLIONS of planets out there, yet we're the only one with life? Theres thousands of contradictory religions, with many different teachings and many different God's that are worshiped, they can't all be right, or can they? Theres millions of people who have interacted with the intelligent spirits of people known to be dead.

It appears to me that what we learn in a classroom or in a church has a big asterisk next to it.

@cobbax9916 If you had a son who steals, beats his wife and cheats on her and does other despicable things, would you want to put him inside a furnace for even 5 minutes ? Would you want to have him punished and tortured forever ? Well, God is much more loving and intelligent than you. God is all love, and that's not compatible with the concept of hell. And yes the light is for everyone. Atheists, agnostics and people of all religious beliefs have experienced its love in their NDEs.

I call it the most complex organ known to man. The human brain. If you've had a NDE, you've obviously lived to tell the tale. When you don't come back from that experience, it's just over. The brain is very powerful and complex...and it remains conscious after the heart stops.

The Creator is not impotent. The bible is a book full of contradiction and error. Do not put much faith in it to tell you the unvarnished truth.

@jiffinbigles it makes me sick that people think it is a sin to love someone.. it's quite sad they think that. Religion causes so so much discrimination. Its fine to believe in something but when it creates hate..that's enough. I support same sex marriage and everything :) go on and tell me i'm a terrible person for being happy that people are in love and giving everyone equal rights. come on, its logic from thousands of years ago. it's now 2011. things have changed.
