  • As a Deist,I believe you have the right to believe in your faiths DESPITE my personal opinion that "religions" are flawed. This was the OPINION of most founding fathers including Thomas Paine. Therefore, my previous critique is NOT an absolutist stance. Deism is not about IMPOSING a belief system it is simply a way of allowing competition among these "flawed" belief system. Plato has the right position and I think the US Constitution proves his point and Deism is also proven.

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 I Don't Know...

  • @TonyBruhh why did u get flagged?

  • The establishment of religion gets short shrift in this version of the first clause of the first amendment, and that could lead many kids watching this to come to the wrong conclusion that they have the right to get government to support their religion.

  • The Bill of Rights (Amendments) differs from the Articles in that the Articles define and set up the structure & responsibilities of the 3 branches of government. The Amendments are for the People and describes the God-given rights that are ABOVE the government's powers.

Unfortunately, the power-hungry individuals & special interest groups involved in our government have usurped those rights and ignored the limits of authority the Constitution places on them.
