Add: Godaddy has PHP 5.0 as default now. No need to ask for it. This is a great video on how to set ChurchInfo up. I forgot to mention this is a great software package that the developers are working on constantly. Great stuff for FREE!

If you set up in Godaddy, they also have PHP Admin running so it looks very similar to your video. With ChurchInfo you have to make sure that your Godaddy account has PHP 5.X enabled. Hosting Control on Godaddy will let you know but it is default if you subscribed in the last few years or so. You can have 25 MySQL
databases, so knock yourselves out if you want to learn how to manage a database on Godaddy.

Mark, if you install this on a outside system like GoDaddy, you HAVE to place the database in the /churchinfo path or any other path EXCEPT the root path. If you put it in the ROOT path, then when your uses go to your web page, they would get just the Churchinfo database page and not the actual web page. I know this because I did it! Lucky I realized it and took all the church info files off the Root and back into /churchinfo directory. I know this seems obvious!

Good Basic information. You might note that phpmyadmin allows you to 'import' the install.sql file directly. I find this more desirable than copying and pasting.
