  • I am starting to think that the words "macho" and "machismo" are sexist words towards men. They are or have become political words and can be used to describe any behavior a man may do that a woman does not approve of. It's become a words to describe any masculine behavior in the perjorative.

  • @MrBastilleDay Yes, I agree completely. Further, if a man does it, it's irresponsible and macho; if a woman does it, it's assertive and strong.

  • for every one man that is sexist towards a woman, there are at least 20 who are sexist and flat out hateful towards men.

  • @ShriekoftheVulture3 Only 20? More like 2000.

  • @mylampstand ur joking right? hahaha pleez for the sake of god tell me ur joking, lol cuz if ur not i cant imagine a more stupider comment than that one

  • im glad u adressed this issue because women like to throw this around like feces in a monkeys hand

  • @ManSpeakOut A typical feminine trait due to her limited subjectivity.

  • 8 dislikes = women 184 likes = males. Stupid women.

  • And it's sooo damn easy for people to fall into double standards - everyone hates when others are generalising or being sexist at them but many do the same to others.

  • @MrBastilleDay That usually happens when you take a word in a language you do not understand. Macho in Spanish simply means a very masculine man. We also have a word for machismo for women, hembrismo.

  • It HAS to be said, and you say it very well. 11/10

  • The song itself is widely known and many women have sung it at recitals and other events, and there as been little criticism of the song itself and those who sing it.
