@SuperBailey2009 Yeah but he wasn't the only writer on those shows. As someone below me has said The Young Ones had already been created by Rik Mayall and Lise Meyer, and I think both that and Blackadder could easily have survived without him. Notice that most of what he's written by himself - books, musicals and television scripts etc. - have been shite.
