I made this short film in September of 2005. It's a compilation of images from the beautiful island of North Uist, in the Outer Hebrides off the West Coast of Scotland. For the big "Zoom-in" of Earth, I grabbed over 200 still images from Google Earth and animated them. It took a very long time!!
It's a stunning place, with amazing sunsets, gorgeous beaches and incredible wildlife. The images in this film were taken by myself and Uisdean Murray, originally from North Uist!
I hope you enjoy the film, I'm hoping to make another one soon, with video footage of the birdlife and the beaches. It'll be stunning!!!
