The typical bipedal robot's weight distribution is way different from a human's, for example a much higher portion of its weight is located on the lower legs. This makes walking much more difficult.

why don't you videotape yourself walking and apply the same movements to the robot? it seems the robot has servos for every joint a human has in his legs.
