"QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY" Physicist Gilles Brassard, cautions that information may be secure now, but not in the future.
The growth of storage and the enormous promise of cloud computing poses the threat and challenge of presently secure information made vulnerable by future advances in cryptographic analysis. Brassard is best known for his fundamental work in quantum cryptography, quantum entanglement distillation, quantum pseudo-telepathy, and the classical simulation of quantum entanglement. Some of these concepts are still theoretical, but others have been implemented in the laboratory.
