  • I am using Ubantu, why yum command doesn't work on Ubantu?

Is there a tool like file explorer available to install LAMP?

  • @xushenxin yum is used with RPM based distros like fedora and centos... for debian based distros like ubuntu, you can use apt-get

    example: apt-get install apache2 php5 php5-mysql mysql-server

that will install the basics of LAMP, you will probably want to install more modules though

  • is there another part to this? I'm very interested in the "statelite sites" i do something similar but it takes me forever.

  • Let me get something up for you... I think I made a video for database driven websites / satellite sites, but never posted it. I use WPMU for satellite sites... Do you want to learn how to do it with WPMU?

  • @unomateo I think im more interested in the content generation part and the automation of it, i know a bit of WPMU..

  • hmmm... content generation? I have a wordpress plugin that pulls content from articledashboard... do you want it?

send me an email with more specific needs, I might have what you need.
