Super Bowl 43 XLIII Commercials 2009 - Banned

Peta's Super Bowl XLIII commercial was the first to be banned for the content of the ad. Apparently the NFL or NBC felt that this Super Bowl ad went a bit too far. I have to disagree as I think previous Super Bowl Sunday ads have pushed the envelope just as far if not further.

This year, the commercials for the big game are said to be the best we've seen in awhile. No expense was spared and spending on Super Bowl ads is higher than ever. Are you watching to see if the Arizona Cardinals can beat the Pittsburgh Steelers...or are you just watching for the commercials?

Having a commercial banned from the Super Bowl can be a blessing in disguise. The media attention paid to this PETA commercial has been unreal. They have gotten millions upon million of dollars in free publicity without having to pay for a Super Bowl Sunday spot.

Just to let everyone know, we did this commercial as an experiment. We needed to go for something that would get high traffic in order to get enough data. The commercial obviously isn't an actual Super Bowl commercial, and yes, I spelled gauges incorrectly. Dumb mistake (smacks self in head repeatedly). The commercial was made in about 20 minutes as this was a last minute idea. I appreciate all of the feedback..good or bad.

I get it. It's not a superbowl commercial at all. These guys just thought they'd get more hits for their product if they falsely billed this as a result that would turn up for Superbowl commercial querys. If you need to fake people out to bring them to your product, your company probably has issues that have already sealed its fate.

This isn't a rejected Super Bowl commercial. It's just a fancy title to get us to watch this YouTuber's advertising. Not impressed.

its not banned it just wasnt good enough to be selected. It's probably a worse ad than those ringtone commercials late on MTV
