this song is being played where Iive. Down by Shagawa Lake in Ely, MN, a town of many many great musicians. That canoe in the background belongs to my friend Steve Cole, and the whirring mechanical roar you hear at one point are the float planes taking off from the seaplane base nearby.

I can't believe I never heard this song until today. It's a good'un, and this is an excellent rendition. I like the June Tabor version too,
