See how the runcore boot is slightly slower in the early startup, the BIOS probably uses a bit longer to initiate the runcore drive.
This actually gives the runcore even more edge in this test.

Booting uses read speed. Runcore's advantage is in actually running the OS and applications. The write speed is nearly 6X faster than the Asus stock drive.

The RunCore also beats the Asus stock drive for read speeds by roughtly a multiple of two. This mainly shows that the boot speed isn't mainly effected by this.
Like you say, the performance of running other applications is improved, especially disk heavy apps.
